Development of a Philosophy: Part 1 (Padawan Erifia)

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Master Gerith kept poking me and prodding me to get out of bed. It was late morning, and I had been up all night playing Capture the Flag with the other padawans. I rose gently, and I wiped the sleep from my eyes, and I blinked heavily at him.

“Good morning, Master,” I said casting my eyes from him. I was still in my PJ’s and I didn’t want him to know I was embarrassed.

“Erifia today we have been asked to stop a Sand-Person Raid on a small colony on Tatooine,” He spoke firmly.

“Yes Master. Will it not take us longer then a day to get to Tatooine?”

Master Gerith sighed, “We don’t have to do it today, we have to leave today. And we need to get there as soon as possible, so get dressed and get your lightsaber.”

I nodded gently. I didn’t want him to think I was being disrespectful to him. He left my room and I looked at the picture of my mother on the night-stand. She was wearing little or no clothing at all, and she was dancing in a bar.

That picture was taken the night my biological father met my mother. She was young and beautiful. But I didn’t understand how it was logical to wear little more then underwear. It didn’t provide warmth, and there could be no aesthetic value when there was not much clothing to see.

I forced myself back to the present. I needed to get dressed and I needed to help a town on Tatooine. I grabbed one of my different color outfits. It was against temple code to wear them, but Master Gerith always said I should never look like I was from the temple.

He told me time and time again that if I looked like a Jedi, then people would want to kill me as if I was a jedi. I didn’t understand. All we do with our lives is help people. Why would people want to hurt us?

Once the outfit was on, I made sure to put the all-weather cloak we are given at the temple on to cover up my lekkus. Master Gerith also said that men would want to steal me so that I could dance for people and not get paid for it. He said they were going to sell me into Slavery, if they knew what exactly I was at first glance.

His logic was silly. Twi’leks to the best of my knowledge are the only species that can become indigo. But I obeyed anyway. I climbed under my bed, and I grabbed my sniper rifle and my saber.

My saber was a dark purple. I had made it with special crystals Master Gerith had found for me. He said that there were no others like them in the galaxy. So I built a saber around them. It came out to be almost black, with a purple glow.

He met me at his ship, and we were off. He didn’t tell my any details about the mission, but I only assumed it would involve negotiations with the sand-people. I watched the lines of the stars fly by, and I fell asleep.

It didn’t take long for us to be there, and when I woke we were landing. Outside on the main landing pad we were greeted by several humans. I stayed behind Master Gerith, allowing him to do the interaction.

When the conversation had finished we had found out several things, they come and attack the small colony and steal weapons and technology once a week. When the new technology comes in through a spaceship, they come down again.

This time we were used as a decoy so that the Tusken, as they are actually called, will come and attack the town at dusk, and be met by Master Gerith and I. That’s when I realized what was meant by the verb-phrase ‘be met by’. We weren’t going to talk with them. We were going to meet them and kill them.

There was no talk of peace. There was only talk of killing them. I nodded as we were told information, so scared and worried that we would have to kill them. I didn’t want to hurt anyone.

After the Mayor of the Colony left, Master Gerith said, “Erifia, you need to get up on top of one of those buildings and use that sniper rifle to take them out before they come to close to us. I will stand on the outside of town and meet them in hand-to-hand combat.”

I cast my eyes down from him, a sole tear dropping, “If it is your wish Master.”

If you’ll excuse me, sir, I need to go get prepared to hurt someone *tear*,

Saving Master Apoc: Conclusion (Erifia)

The bed was so cold. The last thing I remember is Tatooine nuzzling my cheek and trying to wake me up. I thought maybe I was in the med-room in my ship. I felt the bandage around my stomach.

Tatooine had saved me. I don’t know what it was that set her off, that released my hold on her. What broke her barriers and let her free, but whatever it was I have to figure it out.

I felt my arm. Becca had injected me with a bacta shot. Poorly too. I lifted the bandage, there wasn’t going to be a scar, but I wish there would be.

I had hurt my family. I had hurt my Child and my Sister (for all intensive purposes) I should have just died. What good am I if I can’t control my bad side? I am not better than Aayla Secura.

I felt a warmth in the room, Tatooine was sleep with salt tears still filling his eyes and stroking down his cheek. I stood, and fell onto the ground, my legs unable to support themselves with the weight of my sins.

I kissed his cheek, “Tatooine, my sweet Tatooine. How noble a heart beats in that innocent chest.”

“Mommy,” he said exhaustedly, “Is that really you?”

“Yes, Tatooine, you killed her, you killed the evil mommy for now, at least.”

“Do you still love me?” he asked.

“More than you could ever imagine, Professor Goat-ing-ton.”

He smiled, he loved when I called him that, “I love you Mommy, I am sorry I made you hurt.”

“Tatooine, you saved me. You saved Master Apoc.”

I laid down next to him, and put my arm around him, and fell asleep.

If you’ll excuse me, I’ve got a noble child and a wonderful sister, my life is complete for now,

Saving Master Apoc: Part 6 (Tatooine)

Saving Master Apoc: Part 6 (Tatooine)

Auntie Becca and I were given a small break. We were given water. We caught our breath and were forced back out into the arena. I was still shaking from the other two fights.

Why did we have to fight? I just wanted my mommy.

The gate opened on the other side. I started to run to who it was, but Auntie Becca grabbed my collar, and It choked me.

“She’s not your mother,” Auntie Becca said to me, “Not right now.”

I looked hard at the other side. It was my mommy, she just looked different. She was wearing red, and she had red and green light sabers extended.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

I looked at her. She was still my Mommy. I don’t care what Auntie Becca said. I ran to her. When I got to her, she held her foot up, and it hit me, knocking me to the ground.

“Mommy,” I cried out.

Auntie Becca rushed up to her, “Who do you think you are?!” She screamed, “I don’t know a lot of things, but I know even if you are evil that is still your child.”

I looked at Auntie Becca’s eyes, they were glowing. She was using her powers on Mommy. Mommy, laughed at her.

“Nice try,” Mommy spun and kicked Auntie Becca in the cheek, sending her to the ground.

Auntie Becca held me tightly, “Tatooine, did you say your prayers this morning like I told you to.”

“Yes, of course I did,” I said to her, “Why is Mommy so mean?”

“I don’t know, something is inside of her… Something that makes her hurt us.”

“Can we kill it?”

“No Tatooine, only she can… And she hasn’t wanted to yet…”

“But…”

Mommy spoke, “Are you two ready to die?”

She held her hands towards us, and electricity came from her finger tips and it hit us, I felt hot and painful, my muscles started to jump, and I couldn’t move.

“Stop!” Mommy said. And the lightning stopped itself.

“Shut up!” she screamed, “I’m going to kill them!”

“No!” Mommy screamed again louder, “You won’t hurt them! You promised you wouldn’t! You Promised you would make Barriss Better!”

“I am going to!” Mommy screamed at herself again, “After I kill them, I keep my promises!”

I haven’t been this confused since I was helping, Frodo, Sam and Sméagol take the ring to Mount Doom…

Flashback

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

“No, you won’ts hurt the master, or the master’s friends,” said Sméagol, to no-one, he didn’t know I was watching.

“But the ones, he isn’t like us, he’s from Star Wars, he’s tricksy Precious,” said Gollum.

“No he’s not, he’s not tricksy,” said Sméagol.

“He’s false, Precious, he’s false, looks at hims, hes covered in fur, fur is tricksy… Sméagol can trust Gollum…”

“Nos! Nos! I trusts the Master.”

“Sméagol, Why does it cry Sméagol does it know that Gollum is right?” He coughed the word Gollum came out.

Sméagol said, “Nos! Master wouldn’t hurt us, neither woulds his Star Wars Friend.”

“Sméagol you knows I am right. Together Sméagol we can get the precious back…”

I spoke up, “Uhm, yeah, Sure, we could do that… Or we could go and see someone about talking to ourselves.”

Gollum spoke, “See, he thinks were crazy.” Sméagol finished, “Nos, he just wants us to gets help, We needs it…” Gollum sighed, “Gollum only goes to one meetings, but that’s it!”

End Flashback

“No!” Mommy commanded herself, as she walked back from us.

“Yes, give up Erifia, you are finished,” Mommy began to cry.

“I love them,” she pleaded, “Don’t hurt them…”

“Too late, we had a deal,” she said to herself.

I stood, and I ran forward, I drove my metallic horns into her. Her stomach pushed in, and she screamed, I pushed her into the ground.

“You’re not my mommy! You’ll never be my mommy again!”

I withdrew my horns… What had I done? I killed my mommy… I laid down in the dust of the Arena. Auntie Becca grabbed Mommy, and she tugged on me, but I didn’t move. I finally brought myself to stand and I followed. I killed my mommy… I killed my mommy…

“Mommy!” I cried and I pushed the horns off my head, and I nuzzled her cheek, “Mommy, please, wake up…”

If you-excuse me…
Tatooine the murder…

PS. I killed Mommy… 24 times…

Saving Master Apoc: Part 5 (Becca)

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Tatooine and I were standing in front of, I don’t know, like a portcullis or something. We were geared up to fight for information. I wasn’t worried.

Back on Earth we had these things called Malls, and these Malls were a festival of bad smells, and people, all rushing and caring very little about if you live or die. Sometimes you would fight them to get these, I don’t know, these anything.

It got really, really bad around Christmas time… People would hit you with purses and other things to get you away from them and their items.

When our Big Gatey thing rose, Tatooine and I walked out. We were alone. The gate on the other side opened. Gamorians, big Orcish looking things came running out. Their leader came at me directly. And Tatooine jumped in front of me.

I didn’t understand why he was doing that, but it wasn’t like the Gamorian was going to get to me, I looked into his eyes, and he looked into mine, and I implanted a thought. All of his allies were us, and we were his only allies.

I don’t know, I’ve seen a lot of things, but him running at me, stopping, then cutting into his friend with a vibro axe, and then this dog pile of Gamorians all fighting each other with vibro axes was probably on the top of my yuck list.

Tatooine smiled and leapt up and down, “He’ll tell us about Mommy now! He’ll tell us about Mommy!”

“You have two more rounds!” I heard over a loud speaker, “That is, if you survive this one.”

I looked down at Tatooine and I am sure we both looked the same way. That’s when the gate opened, and a huge bug looking thing came out. I don’t know what it was, but it was ugly.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

I don’t know, but I haven’t wanted to kill a bug and been as scared of a bug this bad since I was working with the Men in Black on Earth.

Flashback

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

“Hey Bee,” I held my cricket gun a little unsteady looking at the mass of bug in front of us.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

“I don’t know Jay.”

“Shoot the bug!”

“But Kay is in it.”

“Shoot the bug!”

I held the cricket unsteadily and I aimed at it, then closed my eyes and shot. I hit the UFO it was trying to get on.

“Shoot the bug! The Bug!”

I aimed again and closed my eyes, and I heard metallic grinding.

“Not the Ship Bee! The Bug!”

“You shoot the bug!”

“No, Shoot the bug!”

Meanwhile, the Bug leapt down and was standing face to face with me, and I heard a sound like a charging battery or something, and then the bug exploded, and I got covered in bug guts.

“I quit!” I said while my whole body shook in frustration.

End Flashback

Tatooine and I stared at the large buggy thing. I withdrew both of my blasters. Tatooine reflexively moved behind me.

I began to fire at it. Blast after blast. Unrelenting. The creature just stood there as the blasts reflected off of it. And there was no mind controlling this thing.

“Tatooine,” I said calmly, “I don’t know what I am going to do, but distract it. You know the game we place sometimes, when I have you walk up to a cute guy and ask him those questions?”

“Yes Auntie Becca.”

“Okay, I need you to go do that with it, but run, I won’t let it hurt you. I promise.”

So Tatooine ran up, and did what he did best. I ran to the pile of gross bloody Gamorians and I reached in, and found a vibro axe. I chased after the big buggy thing, and when I got to its back leg I swung the axe, blindly.

I missed of course, I don’t know. I just don’t like hurting things. I swung again, and the bug’s leg was cut in two and it started to lose its balance. I cut the other back leg, and it fell to the ground. It used its front claws to try and get at Tatooine.

I jumped on its back, and ran up to what looked like its head. I cut into it, and it dropped limp. I fell off of it and landed in the dirt with a thud, and it kicked dust up all around me.

Tatooine ran over to me and licked my face, just missing my eyes with his electro-horns.

“Are you okay?”

“I don’t know,” I said.

Saving Master Apoc: Part 4 (Tatooine)

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

As I sat in Auntie Becca’s lap, I watched all around. I didn’t know what was going on. I just wanted my mommy.

A big scary looking old guy came out. He was frightening.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

“You two,” he said, sort of, “What are you doing here?”

Auntie Becca answered, “Looking for a Twi’lek.”

“Can you fight?” he asked.

“Uhm…” I said, “Not really… We just want my mommy back. We came many miles to get here…”

“Would you say, A Billion?” He asked waving his hand in front of him.

“No,” I said, “But we came a lot.”

“I am old, and I need entertainment, fight in my arena, win, and I might tell you what I know about your mommy.”

I looked down, “Have you seen my mommy?”

I haven’t been this desperate to find my mommy since I was trapped in that one book and didn’t remember what she looked like…

Flashback

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

I walked up to a dog, “Are you my mother?”

“No.”

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

I walked up to a cat, “Are you my mother?”

“No.”

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

I walked up to a cow, “Are you my mother?”

“No.”

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

I walked up to a frog, “Are you my mother?”

“No.”

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

I walked up to a droid, “Are you my mother?”

“Does not compute.”

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

I walked up to a spaceship, “Are you my mother?”

It didn’t respond. I felt sad.

“Tatooine, baby…” Mommy said.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

“Are you my mother?”

“Sort-of, I’m close enough…”

Mommy hugged me!

End Flashback

“I told you,” he responded, “I will tell you where your mother is, if you fight in my arena and win.”

Auntie Becca responded with, “I don’t know about all this…”

He had his Geonosian guards take us down to the equipment rooms, and they tossed us in and locked the doors. Auntie Becca strapped on armor on me, and on my horns she attacked these long metalic spikes that cracked and popped like they had some popcorn in them.

She put on lighter armor, and she didn’t put on a helmet. She grabbed a pair of guns, and I started to cry…

“I just want my mommy…”

She knelt to me, and pet my head, “It’ll be okay,” she said, “We’ll get your mommy.”

If me-Got to fight!

Saving Master Apoc: Part 3 (Becca)

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

By the time we arrived back at the ship again, it was really late. I had to find that nice man who looked like everyone else, I don’t know, but like let me tell you. Its very difficult to find a clone in a clone base.

I didn’t know his name. I thought his name was Tak. So I asked around and around for Tak. Finally, I found him but he was in a bar, and hitting on some girl.

I had to try and take his attention away from her and put it on me, at least until I could ask him what the Stagnanati hive or whatever it was is.

“Tak?” I asked walking up to him, and sitting down.

“Not now Becca, if she sees you talking to me, then she will think I am taken. But…” he said, “She might get jealous and she might want to come over. Becca, kiss me.”

“Excuse me? I don’t know…”

“Okay, what do you need?”

“I don’t know…” I closed my eyes and tried to think.

“I think Erifia has been taken and I think she’s at some hive or something… Some stagnant or something.”

“The Stalgasin Hive?” He asked.

“Yes,” I said.

He handed me a small disk.

“Put this into Erifia’s harddrive, it will have the ship take you there.”

I kissed him. The girl huffed and moved towards him. I ran out of the bar. Tatooine was asleep on the ship, and I put in the disk, and the ship took off. When we arrived at the Hive spire, I was escorted by two ships down to a landing pad.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

When we landed, a whole stack of Genosians were there…

I haven’t wanted to spray for bugs since that time I was in Joe’s Apartment.

Flashback

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

“I’m so sorry,” Joe said, while he tried brushing the cockroaches off of me.

“You better be!” I yelled.

“Look, I’m sorry, they were here when I got here.”

“I don’t know!” I yelled.

I ran from there as fast as I could.

End flashback

They escorted Tatooine and I to the main mound. We were dragged, literally by these creatures. Finally they stopped, and we were thrown into a large room. There was no-one else in the room.

I sighed.

“Why are we here Auntie Becca?”

“I don’t know Tatooine, I don’t know.”

“Do they have Mommy?”

“I don’t know.”

He laid his head on my lap, and I pet it. Something tells me this is going to be a long day.

Saving Master Apoc: Part 2 (Tatooine)

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Mommy’s gone. And no-one knows where she is. We have an idea. She’s in Geonosis somewhere, and I had to walk Auntie Becca through getting there. I wish I had my mommy back.

When we got to Geonosis a bunch of guys who all smelled like that one guy who stole my bubblebubkin; I spoke with them.

“Excuse me mister,” I said.

“Oh, its you again!” He said rubbing my head.

“Are you the nice man from before?”

“Yes little one, I am. What is troubling you?”

“My mommy is missing… Do you know who took her or where she is?”

“No, we did however have reports of a twi’lek Jedi tearing up forces on the front line, but they stopped a couple of days ago,” I jumped around, “Is there anyway to get there?”

“No, there is heavy mortaring there. You can meet up with a medical unit up there, and see if she came through.”

I was a little bit nervous I remember the last time I went into a place with heavy mortaring…

Flashback

“Wow,” said Captain Hawkeye Pierce, “It’s a little rough up here Tatooine…”

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

He grabbed a pen and paper, and began to write things around.

“Whatchu doing?!” I asked.

“Writing my will,” he said.

“What’s a will?”

“It’s a piece of paper that says when I die, who gets what.”

“Why?”

“Because I’m probably going to die.”

“Why?”

“Because of the heavy mortaring.”

“Why are they mortaring us?”

“I ask myself the same question often.”

“Why?”

“Because I don’t know the answer.”

“Why?”

“Because I haven’t asked one.”

“Why?”

“Because they try to shoot me…”

“Why?”

“I don’t know! Please I need to write this!”

“Okay… I love you, bye bye!”

End Flashback

Auntie Becca hopped onto a speeder, and she grabbed me and put me on the back. I don’t like speeders. They scare me. She hit the jets, and we were pushed forward at a great speed and my fur kept trying to pull out.

We wound up finding the medical unit, and I began to run from tent to tent looking for mommy. There were lots of guys who smelled the same, but Mommy wasn’t here.

“Excuse me Mister,” I said to a man who smelled like everyone else.

“Yes?” He asked confused by me.

“Where is my mommy? She’s blue and has big blue hairs coming off the back of her head, and she’s pretty, and she loved me. Where is my mommy?”

“Oh, you mean the twi’lek?”

I nodded shyly.

“She a jedi?”

I nodded again.

“She was taken by a patrol of droids. They surrounded her and captured her.”

“Mommy…” I began to cry, and Auntie Becca held me tight to her.

Auntie Becca looked at the clone trooper and her eyes began to glow, “Where?”

“We are unsure,” he answered trying not to.

“Anyplace to look?”

“The Stalgasin Hive.”

Auntie Becca and I looked at each other. We both were very confused.

If me excuse!

Saving Master Apoc: Part 1 (Becca)

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Today, I received a muffled message from Erifia. It came over a mailing system, and it was a fuzzy picture with broken speech, I honestly don’t know what she was trying to say…

“Becca, Please (Muffle) been captured (muffle) Keep Tatooine Safe. Tell (muffle) to (muffle muffle muffle scream of pain)” –End Transmission

I don’t know what any of that meant. I think I heard a Keep Tatooine safe. But I don’t know. It’s all so complicated. Tatooine ran out of the back when he heard his mother’s voice, and he leapt around.

“Where’s mommy Auntie Becca?!” He asked.

“I don’t know… Here’s the message, maybe you can make head or tales of the whole thing.”

I replayed it for him. He shook his head back and fourth, “Mommy’s in trouble. Look, Auntie Becca, bring up the source, and double check the IP address and then type the IP address into the republic’s master computer search, and find the outlying computer, through triangulation of the signals, and see what planet and city she is in.”

I haven’t felt this confused by techno-babble since that time I was on Myth Busters…
Flashback

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

“Okay, so to help us determine whether a light we have Becca Magnificant, Erifia Apoc’s sidekick. We’ve got a special show today, we are testing the myth of the Lightsaber.”

“I don’t know, guys…”

“Look,” said Adam, “It’s very inconceivable. The fact is that though photons of light may indeed have some power they cannot on their own, even when concentrated into a shaft, and pressed together, just can’t cut through anything.”

“Yeah,” said Jamie, “The energy source can’t be powerful enough to hold that charge for too long. Look, the energy would be drained by the capacitor and the fact is without something to hold it in, the photons would bounce wildly about the room.”

“I don’t know, guys…”

“Look! Becca, Jamie and I are going to have a contest to see who can build a better light saber, okay?”

I decided that of all the stuff I don’t know, I know one thing. Jedi can only build sabers. I backed out of the room slowly. After a couple of days, I came back, and they were about ready to test their designs. The first one, made by Adam sent a beam of rays into their dummy, Buster. He was on fire, and they had to put him out. Jamie’s exploded. I sighed.

Terrible.

End Flashback

So I did as Tatooine said, but he had to talk me through ever step. I didn’t have a Republic Username and Password, so I had to make one. And then I had enter my social security number, which I don’t know.

I then did the rest of what Tatooine said, and the message came from Geonosis.

“Tatooine,” I said, “I don’t know where that is.”

Guest Poster - Darth Inferna [Topic: Whispers of the mind.]

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Hey Erifia- It is just me. I'm here you know? In that prison you locked me in.

I'm not going to go away. When you sleep, and those fevered dreams come to you? The one where there are screams and all you feel is heat and joy.

That's me sweetie.

Whenever you drift off, and when you wake and find yourself holding a lightsaber, that's me.

See what you don't realize, my precious Erifia, is I am always in your mind. I am you. I am your edge.

You can't get rid of me. I am you. Just let me out Erifia. We were so powerful together... Let me out willingly and I will never harm anyone you care about, we could rule the galaxy, you and I.

I am you.

Sweet, sweet Erifia. Remember why I came out the first time, it wasn't because of the competition- It was because you wanted me.

We needed each other. I kept you from breaking. It wasn't Dante, and it certainly wasn't that weak Nepharia. We could conquer her together, show her who is the stronger being.

But unlock me... Let me free. I need to be free.

Until you let me go, I am going to whisper in your year.

By the way- Barriss is almost dead, and its all your fault. Let me free and we can save her.

I am you... Let Me Free.

So, You think I am Beautiful?

(See it from the Ben's Point of View, here.)

Now he understood, it was so clear, “You fell because of how you felt about me, am I right?”

“I fell because I had to hide it after that, and try and convince myself I never loved you. I’ve learned. Ben, don’t worry about me trying to kiss you anymore. It’s not going to happen again, okay?”

He stared at me, “I worry about you, Are you going to be ok now?”

“Of course I’m going to be okay, I’m Erifia freakin Apoc. Its hard to keep me down on the ground Ben. I get up again.” I looked him in the eyes, to show my joke had hints of truth in it.

“Good to hear,” he responded, “But I’m sorry if I hurt you, Erifia, it was not my intent to do so.”

“You’re a man, its part of your nature,” I responded immediately, “You can’t help it.”

“That isn’t quite the reply I was looking for, but it is ya’ll, so I will accept that.”

I stiffened a bit, I looked at him, “I’m not quite ready to forgive you, okay?”

He patted my shoulder, “I accept that too. I’m glad we had this talk. Maybe we can get back to the way things used to be. I would hate to lose ya’ll’s friendship.”

I raised an eyebrow, “I’ve got a question, I want an answer, no flowers, no running around bushes, Why don’t you like what I wear or what I don’t wear? Does it make you uncomfortable, everyone else doesn’t seem to notice except you. I want to know the real reason.”

“People do notice, Erifia, no one says anything to you. I feel a lady shouldn’t show her body in such a way. It is disrespectful to themselves, besides, you are better than that. I’ve known ya’ll for so long,” he responded.

“So you feel that since I am comfortable with my body and don’t mind showing off a little, that I lower myself from being a lady to being a twi’lek slave girl. Benny,” I said sweetly, “Benny do you think I’m pretty?” I was now playing with him a bit.

“Not what I meant, and of course you are… pretty.” His pause interested me. “I’ve told you that before. You wouldn’t be a slave, Erifia, I couldn’t see that for ya’ll.”

“I would have been,” I responded, “If I wasn’t saved by my old master, but I digress. You hesitated on Pretty Benny. What was the word you wanted to use? And don’t lie to me, I’m a spy, I know when someone is lying.”

He hesitated, he was trying not to lead me on, “Erifia, you are beautiful and you don’t need me to tell you that.”

“But it doesn’t hurt, and don’t worry, I told you that kissing thing was over, that means I get to flirt and make you flirt or whatever, and there is no strings attached,” I stood and with a school-girlish action kissed his cheek, “Right Benny?” I will need to ask Becca about more ways to flirt, its kind of fun.

“Ya’ll flirt more than ya know,” he muttered, “I wouldn’t know how to flirt my dear, I’ve never done it.”

“I’m Green,” I responded.

“Green?” he asked, as he inspected my body, I think I shifted, “My eyes must be messed up, ya’ll look blue to me.” He winked.

“Indigo,” I responded, “Aayla’s blue, and ugly.” I crossed my arms over my chest.

“Indigo, that suits ya’ll better than blue.”

“Good, I’m glad we had this talk, now I don’t want to hurt you anymore.”

He smiled, “I don’t want to hurt ya’ll either, I never meant to.”

“Actions speak louder then words, and we’ll see how it all works. Goodbye for now, Benny,” I opened my door and laid down on the bed, he left the room.

If you'll excuse me, I am going to take a nap,

INTERRUPTION! - Captain Picard's Christmas Party

Captain Picard's Christmas Party!

I stood on the Enterprise. Captain Picard one of the men I did Last Gladiator Standing with had invited me. It was his Christmas Party. I do not celebrate the Earth Tradition of Christmas. It is lost on me. But I understand their need for it.

It’s a religious ceremony of some kind that was corrupted by the corporations of the world to be a holiday of materialistic value only. It amazes me how for thousand of years a tradition survived.

As was custom on their planet, I brought the one who invited me a present; It was a lightsaber, in a box about twenty sizes too large for it, and it was packed tightly do it made no sound when rattled.

I made sure to put it with the other presents, it was marked, “To The Good Captain, from Erifia Apoc.” I then searched for my host, he was going to be a very, very busy. I found him mingling, and I smiled and tipped my head.

“Happy Christ Mast,” I said to him.

“Christmas, Miss Apoc. And Merry Christmas is the proper term,” He responded and he gave me a hug and a kiss on both cheeks.

“Merry Christmas then Captain,” I said with a smile.

“To you as well, Miss Apoc… I would love to speak to you more-“

“But you’re very busy. I understand. I got you a very special present, I hope you enjoy it.”

I had heard many times in my galaxy about a group known as borg. So I sought a member of this race. I found one. She was avoiding contact with other people. And she was flanked by two borg men; or at least I think they were borg men. I approached. She was of some important because my approach made the guards tense.

I bowed, “Are you a borg?” I asked.

“I am the Queen of the Borg,” she responded.

“Forgive me for not respecting your position, I was unaware.”

“I do not understand why all people cannot be like you. You are a fascinating being yourself. I’ve never seen one of your kind before. Would you be interested in Assimilating?”

“Assimilating?”

“The object in general is to put you into the collective. To enchance you with technology from the other races, and to take your strengths into the hive-mind. What do your tails do?”

“It’s complicated, they act like extra brains.”

“Really, I will give you signing bonuses and a planet of your choice.”

“I’m a Jedi too.”

“Really!?” She seemed ecstatic. She was bubbling, “Anything else I should know about you?”

“I don’t know; I’m a different race on my father’s side, way, way, up there.”

“Which one?”

“Species 8472.”

“Get away!” She hissed.

I did as ordered. I decided to speak with Guinan. I seemed to remember speaking to her a couple of times before. So I sat and spent the rest of my time with her. She wasn’t as popular as some of the other guests.

If you’ll excuse me, I am going to get smashed,

Listen Closely, Ben.

(See it from the Ben's Point of View, here.)

“Erifia, I’m tired of trying to get through to you. I’m not opposing you. You are more like Anakin then I care to admit. You both believe strongly in what you feel,” he pulled his hands out of mine, “Nothing I say will change that. But be careful what ya’ll work for.”

“However, I have some degree of wisdom behind mine, Anakin is young yet. Ben,” I said, “did Master Yoda ever tell you why he made me a master?”

“I would suppose because you deserve it. But I suspect it has something to do with Barriss.”

I hushed, and I looked at him. I pressed my lips together, but didn’t speak. My eyes looked into his. There was a secret on my lips, but I wasn’t going to say it.

“I won’t push you to talk about it,” he said.

“Maybe I need to, but don’t want to, and perhaps we should go somewhere other than here.”

“If you think you would be more comfortable somewhere else, we can go,” he smiled, “Where would ya’ll feel more comfortable talking?”

“Someplace alone? My room maybe? Someplace where no-one would go.”

“That’s fine, after ya’ll.”

I walked through the temple slowly, heading towards my small temple quarters. I walked softly, trying to let him stay even with me. I wondered, honestly, if he was watching my thighs as I moved, or my hips, perhaps. Both were places of bare skin. My lekkus wiggled at such a thought.

I opened the door to my room, and I sat on my bed, pulling a chair with my foot over, so he could sit. I set the picture of my mother face down on the side table, and I looked at him.

“Okay, we are alone, talk to me.”

“The real reason Master Yoda made me a master is…” I began to stutter on the s in is, and the t in the next would I was trying to say.

He tried to enourage me, “Go on.”

“Th—Tha—Tha- I- I – I almost gave into the dark side, and… And--- and only the fact that I was able to feel my emotions- it—it got me through it… He- he—“ I closed my eyes and my mouth, why was it so hard to say?

“I had no idea, Erifia. I wasn’t told about that. I knew something was going on…” he spoke, “Go on.”

“It was all because I was trying to bottle up my emotions. Trying to qualm them… But it didn’t work… Did you ever hear of Darth Inferna? She was I… Only for a short time. I finally, after releasing my emotions and feeling them, did I come back to being jedi… And you started it all,” I said softly.

“I started- whatever do ya’ll mean? I don’t understand,” He was in shock.

“Ben, remember this above anything else I ever tell you. You cannot stop love, you cannot push it away, you cannot hide it. When you do. That’s when you give into the dark side.”

Library and Okie-Doke

(See it from the Okie-Doke's Point of View, here.)

I grabbed a holo book. Amazing. I had been looking for some time for this one. “Mindtricking Droids” Simply amazing. I knew this was going to be some help, I sat down at a table, and began to leaf through the pages.

“Congratulations on the Mastership,” a voice of my past said.

I looked up at him, and closed my book, “You don’t really mean that of course. Its something you’re forced to say since I am a master now.”

His mouth was agape, “Erifia, that’s hardly the case. I’m truly happy for ya’ll.”

“Happiness is an emotion,” I responded coolly, “Did I not have a belting out with you at the council? But, thank you.”

“It must please ya’ll to be a master now. Ya’ll deserve it,” he ignored the bite of my previous answer.

“Yes it does please me to be a master. I can now make changes to the code, or train other masters to teach about emotion.”

“You ain’t serious are ya? Ya’ll can’t honestly think ya could do-“ he didn’t finish his sentence.

“Of course I’m serious. There needs to be some changes around here, or we are all going to die. It may take many years after my death for things to finally be right, but changes must be made. Tradition doesn’t always work. Tradition needs to change with time.”

He shook his head in disapproval, “Those things will never change, here Erifia. No matter how hard ya’ll try. It’s our way, and our way doesn’t need to change.”

I smiled at him, as I stood, revealing my dancer outfit that was previously buried by the table. I walked to the nearest bookshelf, and put my book back. I walked back over and sat down, “Your way, as in the council?”

He wanted to protest my outfit, and that made me smile even more, “The way, as in the Jedi way. My way, everyone elses way, and should be ya’ll’s way.”

“How many people have you killed?” I asked him, bringing my soft blue eyes to look at his, I blinked them heavily. Becca had taught me a thing or two.

“I don’t keep score,” he responded, by crossing his arms over his chest.

That’s exactly what I wanted him to say, “Don’t keep score or lost count, I dare you to ask me the same question.”

He didn’t want to ask, and my smile brightened even further, “How many, Erifia?”

My response was simple, “None. Not one single sentient being, I’ve killed beasts, and I’ve hurt people. But I’ve never killed anything possessing a true soul. So, the question is who has gone off course of the code, and who has not?”

He rubbed his chin, “I have never killed anyone out of revenge or spite. Some things can not be helped in battle when a blaster is in ya’lls face,” he stared at me, “But I am impressed that you have never killed.”

“Reflect blasts, and cut the gun. Force push them into the ground lock them in plasma bracers,” I winked at him and blew a kiss to him as he stared into my eyes. I hadn’t done it as nothing more than to break his concentration.

“One on one maybe…” he waved his hand, “That’s the point of this, Erifia? Are you trying to make me feel bad for killing? You act like I have no feelings at all. I don’t like hurting anyone.”

“No. I am just trying to illustrate a point. And as far as I am concerned, Okie-Doke Kablokey, you have no emotions. And I believe you don’t like hurting anyone. That much I know for a fact.”
I grabbed his hands, because I thought I had hurt him. I kissed them softly. Not of anything more than comfort. I had crossed the line, now I was trying to make up for it.

He smiled, “You are going to be the death of me, ya’ll know that?” he patted my cheek, I think that was affectionate; or supposed to be.

“I crossed the line, I am sorry. But I am not ceasing on any of what I want to do, and if you are going to oppose me, then oppose me. I will not change my mind.”

If you'll Excuse me, I feel awkward,
